The Importance of Play!

All children love to play. Although play takes different forms throughout a child's development, the importance of play and its learning potential remains high for all ages. Play allows children to build confidence in their growing capabilities. It helps them learn as they investigate possibilities, hear new languages, and munipulate toys. It's a fun way for you and your child to spend time together.

Remember, babies play from the very first months of life. They shake, mouth, and look at toys over and over again. Infants learn best by manipulationg objects in their environment such as musical toys, soft stuffed animals, pots and pans. But the greatest toy for your baby is YOU!
