is a Lamar County School District organization that works with
community stakeholders to support high-quality classroom instruction
by enhancing district technology.
This initiative is research-based, and supports student
achievement*. The goal of CREATE is to enable teachers to deliver
twenty-first century instruction by providing the resources to
acquire Interactive White Boards and Voter Response Systems in every
classroom in the Lamar County School District. This interactive
technology engages students, provides immediate feedback, and
empowers teachers and students to explore difficult concepts in new
ways.
“CREATE has been called the ‘Boosterclub’ for district-wide technology funding. For several years now, classrooms across the Lamar County School District have seen the enormous benefit of the interactive learning approach. Now we are asking for community support to continue that momentum, by ensuring that even more classrooms are outfitted with this state-of-the art technology.”
